It has a new, more modern interior
The most significant change made to the 2023 Kia Niro can be found inside. More luxurious and more advanced than ever before, the 2023 Kia Niro now features a brand-new interior with a new infotainment system built into two large 10.25-inch screens. The interior is similar in design and layout to the new Kia EV6 and you will enjoy great features such as heated and ventilated seats as well as the advanced functionality of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Overall, the Kia Niro is a much more welcoming and much more refined small SUV with all of the features buyers want.
It is more spacious
Not only is the Kia Niro nicer and more advanced inside, it is also more spacious. The exterior dimensions have grown which leads to more interior leg room and more head room as well. Moreover, there is 646 L of cargo space behind the rear seats in the 2023 Niro.
It has more range and more power
The 2023 Kia Niro gets a larger 11.1 kWh battery in the PHEV version which improves range to 53 km, up 11 compared to the 42 km of the current model. The range of the fully electric version also improves thanks to a slight increase in the in the capacity of the lithium-ion battery. That 2023 Kia Niro EV now delivers 407 km of total range compared to 385 for the current model. The EV version will continue to offer 201 horsepower.
